I am a native of Alaska transplanted to California for school and then more permanently by marriage. I grew up in Anchorage where I went to primare and secondary school. I played in band, sang in choir and played on the high school tennis team. I attended Brigham Young University for college and majored in Business Management. For three of the years I spent there I wa part of a collegiate a cappella group that performed across the country called Vocal Point. One year into college I took a two year sabbatical to serve a proselyting mission in Japan. After graduating from college I was accepted to Loma Linda University for dental school. Four years later, after graduating dental school, I applied for further training in Orthodontics and was accepted to the Othodontic program at the same school – I completed the program in September 2016. I met my wife, Jannah Lilly, several months into my residency and we were married a year later. We have 5 kids at home – three girls and two boys. I myself am the first of seven children so I love large families! My wife and I love hiking and enjoying everything that’s green. Eating, skiing, golfing, biking, and sailing are high on our list of hobbies. In general though I just like to have fun with people.
I grew up in Northern California where I attended primary and secondary school. During high school I played basketball, baseball, and football. I played in the band, participated in drama, and held several student offices. It is safe to say that I have always had wide-ranging interest.
For college I moved to Southeastern Washington and attending Walla Walla University. There I played varsity basketball and began to cultivate an interest in science and healthcare. Following my sophomore year, I took a year off from school to the Marshall Islands where I taught classes at a local high school. This is where I fell in love with travel, the beach and surfing.
Having decided on a career in healthcare and growing up around the dental field – my mother was a dental hygienist and my grandfather was a dentist – I chose to pursue the profession of dentistry. I moved to Southern California and attended Loma Linda University for dental school where I won awards for educational research and was published in the Journal of the California Dental Association. I practiced general dentistry for two years before deciding to go back to school to become an orthodontist.
My orthodontic specialty training was also at Loma Linda University. Here I performed research on how MRI technology could be used in orthodontics. This research was presented at the International Association for Dental Research convention. During my orthodontics residency I met Dr. Larson as on of my clinical instructors. His patient-first mentality and willingness to embrace new technology to improve the patient experience drew me to practice alongside him at Larson Orthodontics.
Orthodontics is the prefect career for me as it allows me to embrace my love of science and technology in a healthcare setting. I maintain an interest in sports, theatre, travel and outdoor activities and as an orthodontist I get to share these interests with so many amazing patients. I also get to learn many new things from them! Being able to provide a beautiful smile along the way is just icing on the cake. But seriously, don’t eat cake – it’s bad for your teeth.
I have the best job in the world! I love working with our parents and patients, helping them achieve a beautiful Larson Smile! It’s a pleasure to help make their dream of a beautiful smile come true. We have an amazing team and I truly enjoy supporting them so they can provide the best experience for our patients.
I am the proud Mom to two amazing young adults. Away from work, I enjoy spending time outdoors, traveling, and quality time with family, friends and my dogs.
I love being apart of such an incredible team! Dr. Larson has an amazing reputation in Riverside and it’s a joy to work for such an accomplished doctor. I enjoy working closely with patients and helping them acheive that beautiful Larson Smile.
Away from work, I enjoy spending my time outdoors, hiking, running, traveling and spending time with my family. We like pretty much any outside activity!
I love working with Dr. Larson and such an amazing team. Everyone is focused on making sure our patients have the best orthodontic experience. Getting to know people, and watching them become more confident as their new smile appears, is so enjoyable. I handle the insurance portion of patient accounts, ensuring they get the most from their coverage.
My husband and I are proud parents to six kids. They keep us rather busy with all their activities. Family is the most important thing to us, so time together is treasured
If you call our office, I might be the first person you speak to. We have some of the most amazing patients. Getting to know who each person is, and helping them on their orthodontic journey, is a joy.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family and my boyfriend.
I enjoy being able to help our patients and their families have an enjoyable orthodontic experience. Our patients always make me smile. They come through the doors just bursting to share the latest news and show how their smile is coming along. I manage our schedule, ensuring a smooth day. I also schedule doctor meetings, patient care, and answer the phones.
When I’m not in the office, I love spending time with my family and my boyfriend.
I enjoy serving families. I consult with our new patients and parents at their first visit. I like guiding them through orthodontic treatment, explaining what’s involved and treatment options. We also review financials related to care, including insurance and making payment arrangements. I do all I can to make their orthodontic experience exceed their expectations.
I’m married, have four sons, and enjoy family time. We like to watch funny vine videos, play games, and watch movies. I enjoy singing and volunteer on the Sandals Church worship team.
I love being able to help patients achieve that smile they have always dreamt about. It’s so rewarding to make lasting relationships with patients during their treatment time at our office.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family, my boyfriend, and friends.
I like watching each patient’s self-esteem grow along with their changing smile. The day we remove the braces, and the patient sees their finished smile for the first time, I celebrate with them. They’re going to have a smile they love, for the rest of their life! I assist Dr. Larson as he cares for patients. I make sure he has everything he needs, while supporting our patient.
My high school sweetheart and I have been married for more than 35 years. We have three adult children and three mini schnauzers. I like old movies, reading biographies, and knitting.
I am glad to help people achieve their goal of having a healthy, beautiful smile. I like working with a great team. We’re all committed to making our patients feel good about themselves as they go through treatment. I provide chairside assistance during orthodontic procedures, helping Dr. Larson and telling our patient what we’re doing.
My husband Adam and I just welcomed twin sons, Zachary and William, in August 2015. I love being a Mommy and look forward to my boys growing up, but not too fast!
I’m silly and playful. You might say I’m the office clown. But Dr. Larson and my teammates can be just as silly and playful, which makes for a great work environment. We’re always entertaining patients and getting the most shy ones to smile and laugh with us. I take Invisalign® scans and offer chairside assistance. I’m always encouraging and supporting our patients.
I’m a proud mother of three: a daughter and two sons. I’m a bit of a social butterfly and love spending time getting to know people.
I feel priviledged to be a part of a great orthodontic team. I love caring for our awesome patients and seeing the progress of their smile throughout their treatment. Making our patients feel comfortable and cared for is very important to me. I do my best to make each patient’s experience as awesome as possible.
My family and I live in the beautiful city of Riverside and we absolutely love this great community. In our spare time we love to attend baseball games and enjoy nice walks up Mt. Rubidoux.
I enjoy talking to and having fun with our patients and parents, my teammates, and our fun-loving boss. This is a positive, friendly environment and our patients respond by relaxing and sharing jokes with us. Like the rest of our team, I care for each patient as a member of my own family.
My husband and I have two grown children, a son-in-law, a daughter-in-law, and five amazing grandchildren. We also have two dogs. I enjoy quilting and am active at my church, St. Patrick.
I love working with patients, helping each achieve a healthy and confident smile. I get to know each person at their visits and we become close. Watching people I care about change, along with their smile, and seeing their increased self-esteem, is a great experience. I offer patient care, supporting Dr. Larson and our patient.
My husband Rick and I have been married for more than 25 years. We have two adult daughters: one is a teacher and the other is a nurse. I love being with my family.
I love being able to communicate with the patients. Getting to know each patient on a personal level during their treatment is why I love what I do. Our team works really well together and is more like a family.
I have two daughters and a loving husband that I enjoy spending time with. We love staying home, watching movies, and having good quality family time.
